Hotel Asset Manager Role

This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of hospitality assets. The Hotel Asset Manager will work closely with senior stakeholders on key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and drive the financial performance of all hotel assets
  • Lead budget finalization process ensuring goals are met
  • Conduct periodical performance reviews versus budgets; analyze deviations and implement course correction
  • Analyze RevPAR, GOP, ADR, occupancy, and EBITDA trends; optimize ROI
  • Benchmark with industry data to ensure competitiveness
Asset Management Tasks
  1. Manage leasing, tenant relationships, and yield enhancement at commercial developments
  2. Oversee CAM, tenant compliance, facilities, and lifecycle maintenance
  3. Structure monetization strategies through leasing, JV, or selective exits
Development and Growth
  • Drive development of land banks in key markets
  • Floating RFPs for architects, contractors, and brand/operator tie-ups
  • Evaluate feasibility, design concepts, and financial models for new hotels and resorts
Operator Engagement
  • Negotiate management agreements and commercial terms with top-tier hotel brands/operators
  • Govern operator relationships to ensure compliance with objectives
Reporting and Strategy
  • Maintain MIS dashboards and board presentations on asset performance
  • Support senior stakeholders in preparing investment strategy papers and deal structuring

Requirements

  • 8–15 years of experience in hotel asset management or real estate development
  • Strong knowledge of hotel P&L, lease structuring, CapEx ROI, and development cycles
  • Experience working with heritage restoration, commercial leasing, and hospitality contracting
