System Analyst/IT Support Job Description

Hiring for a System Analyst/IT Support role in Kochi.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will provide top-notch support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and networking issues while maintaining excellent working relationships with users and peers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 6 months-2 years of technical support experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Clear communication of issues and problem resolutions is mandatory.
  • L1 Desktop Support up to end-user level including hardware, software, and networking problems must be handled efficiently.
  • Familiarity with concepts of networking, TCP/IP, and LAN troubleshooting is necessary.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP is required.
  • Azure fundamentals should be known.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 is essential.
  • Basics of Windows Server OS 2016 should be familiarized.
  • Familiarity with Antivirus, VPN, endpoint security applications, desktop applications is desirable.
  • Able to follow documented issue resolution procedures is a must.
  • Possession of certifications like AZURE MCP/CCNA, ITIL would be an added advantage.
  • Flexibility to work outside core business hours as required is a plus.
  • Able to resolve issues proactively and independently, yet also function well within a team is expected.
  • Willigness to work in day/night shifts is essential.
  • Work Days: Monday to Saturday.
  • Ticketing tool experience will be a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree without any arrears is compulsory.
  • At least 6 months of experience in IT Support is required.
  • Ability to support on holidays is a must.
