Job Title: Product Manager with Data Engineering Background

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Data Platform Product Manager to join our expanding data platform team.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and managing data products across the enterprise using Snowflake as the core platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage product strategy, backlog, and roadmap for data platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Partner with architects and developers to build scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer for offshore delivery, ensuring alignment with US-based business stakeholders.
  • Define and track key performance metrics for data platform products.
  • Drive adoption and usability of Snowflake-based solutions.
  • Support delivery teams in Agile/Scrum environment, facilitating backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Owner in data-focused projects.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data pipeline design.
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms; Snowflake expertise is essential.
  • Solid grasp of ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and quality standards.
  • Prior experience in building and launching data platform capabilities or products.
  • Familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a distributed team setting.
  • Experience working in hybrid or offshore delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in data engineering or analytics before moving into product roles.
  • Exposure to the restaurant or retail industry is a plus.
  • Agile certification (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) preferred.

Work Model:

We require time zone overlap with US teams for meetings.
