Procurement Specialist Job Description

The Procurement Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that the organization's materials and products meet all specifications. They are responsible for locating key suppliers and negotiating purchasing agreements to obtain high-quality goods at competitive prices.

Responsibilities:
1. Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on their ability to meet product requirements and deliver goods within agreed timelines.
2. Negotiate purchasing agreements with selected suppliers, focusing on cost savings and improving overall supply chain efficiency.
3. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in procurement activities.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, logistics, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of procurement strategies.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 6 months of experience in procurement, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
