Sourcing and Procurement Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing and Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing and procurement, with expertise in vendor management and supply chain optimization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the vendor discovery process, from initial research to contract negotiation and onboarding. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with product development, quality assurance, and logistics.

The role requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and excellent relationship management skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement processes, supply chain operations, and vendor compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Identification and Development: Identify, onboard, and manage vendors across categories such as cosmetics, personal care, nutraceuticals, and FMCG.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead end-to-end contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with formulations, packaging, quality standards, and regulatory norms.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to drive cost optimization, improve supply chain efficiency, and ensure consistent supply.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with strategic vendors, monitor performance using KPIs, and conduct quarterly business reviews.

Requirements:

  • 4–10 years of experience in sourcing/procurement/vendor management in FMCG, cosmetics, nutrition, personal care, or consumer goods industries.
  • Proven track record in negotiating with third-party manufacturers, private label suppliers, and raw material vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain operations, and vendor compliance.
  • Exposure to certifications/regulatory requirements (FSSAI, GMP, ISO, FDA, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and relationship management skills.
