Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in credit underwriting for SMEs and large corporate entities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare thorough credit appraisal notes for large corporate clients, focusing on key risk assessment factors.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to discuss terms and conditions related to risk assessments.
  • Obtain necessary information from customers to prepare comprehensive CRANs (Credit Risk Assessment Notes).
  • Monitor client accounts to ensure adherence to specified terms by the sanctioning authority.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly monitoring reports for the portfolio, highlighting areas of concern and recommended actions.
  • Escalate non-compliance issues with actionable plans for resolution.
  • Carry out site visits and submit inspection reports as required.
  • Manage and address any escalations related to risk assessments in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of experience in credit underwriting for SMEs or large corporate entities is essential.
  • Familiarity with Excel for financial modeling is crucial.
  • Prior experience in project finance or infrastructure sector credit analysis is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • A degree in CA, MBA, or CFA is preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills are vital for success in this role.
