Senior Credit Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Functional Head of Credit to lead our client company's credit function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective strategies to drive business growth through sound credit risk management.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the credit function for a minimum of 2 years with strong experience in handling Credit in Banking or NBFC.
  • Manage a portfolio comprising SME and Corporate clients with exposure to multiple asset classes – Automobile, equipment, real estate etc.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders using strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adapt to changing business priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and digital tools used in credit underwriting and risk management.

Requirements:

  • 18-20 years of relevant industry exposure with a qualification such as CA or MBA Finance from a reputed B-School.
  • In-depth understanding of credit policy/processes in Lending/Lease products.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience of managing large and senior teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to leasing is preferable.
  • Understanding of ECL / loss models.
  • Experience with new age underwriting / assessment tools and technology.
  • Knowledge of CIBIL.
