Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mechanical building services for railway stations and other railway buildings.

  • You will have proven experience in HVAC design, with significant experience in a similar role or demonstration of a good track record.
  • Carry out heat load calculations, duct & pipe sizing, and pressure drop calculations.
  • Select HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHU, FCU, boiler, fans, pumps, etc.
  • Prepare technical submittals.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in mechanical/thermal engineering.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree and membership to an accredited engineering body (e.g., IMechE, CIBSE, ISHRAE, ASHRAE).
  • Technical proficiency in mechanical HVAC designing.
  • HVAC design experience on UK projects.
  • Proficiency in software such as IES, Hevacomp, HAP.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MEP Revit, MicroStation, and other drafting software.
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project.
