Job Title

A seasoned electronics designer is required to work on PCB design and development.

This role involves developing and maintaining a library of CAD components, including schematic symbols, footprints, and parametric data.

  • Maintain a robust set of PCB CAD libraries, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Utilize software tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics Expedition, and OrCAD/Capture CIS for designing and verifying PCBs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop PCB layouts that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, suppliers, and design engineers, to ensure smooth project execution and compliance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot PCB designs to identify potential issues and optimize performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in PCB design and development using popular CAD tools.
  • Excellent understanding of IPC-7351 standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems, such as Windchill, Target PLM, Teamcenter, and Cockpit Server.
Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools like SPICE or ModelSim.
  • Experience with testing and validation methodologies.
