Travel Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries and booking travel arrangements.

  • Provide expert advice on travel destinations, holiday packages, and itineraries to customers.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and online chats to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Consult with customers to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements.
  • Present travel options in a professional and persuasive manner, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service.
  • Maintain strong follow-up with potential clients to ensure conversions and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with operations and product teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings and achieve sales targets.

Requirements

To be successful as a Travel Consultant, you should have:

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, with ability to communicate confidently and clearly with domestic and international clients.
  • Prior experience in travel sales, customer service, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills, with ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Knowledge of popular travel destinations, holiday packages, and itineraries is a plus.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools, email handling).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
