Job Description: International IT Project Manager - Banking Sector

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various IT projects within the banking sector. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

Project Coordination
  • Assist in planning, execution, and closing of IT projects
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion of project deliverables
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders
  • Facilitate regular meetings and updates with project teams, clients, and senior management
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any issues or concerns promptly
Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare project documentation including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, decisions, and changes
  • Provide regular updates to the IT Project Manager and other relevant parties
Risk and Issue Management
  • Identify potential project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and report on project risks, escalating issues as necessary
Compliance and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all project activities comply with banking regulations and industry standards
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards
Resource Management
  • Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, technology, and budgets
  • Track resource utilization and ensure efficient use of project resources
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the project management framework
  • Implement best practices and contribute to the development of project management methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project coordination or management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus

Salary Range: ₹1,200,000 - ₹2,000,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
