As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements related to renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in contract drafting, particularly with regards to power purchase agreements (PPAs), EPC contracts, and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, review, and negotiation of agreements related to behind the meter (BTM) / rooftop solar solutions;
  • Representations/presentations/regulatory updates in internal and external forums based on knowledge of Electricity Act - 2003, Electricity Rule - 2005, Grid Code, Tariff Orders (Distribution, Transmission, Generation), ARR, Open Access Regulations, Net Metering Regulation of Eastern States of India;
  • Managing title due diligence of land for establishing solar and wind power plants across India;
  • Authentication of property title documents;
  • Apprising senior management regarding progress of land acquisition and title clearance, suggesting future course of action;
  • Acting as custodian of all legal and title documents and related documents.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Law with specialization in Power - preferably from reputed institute;
  • 4+ years post-qualification, candidates with experience in renewable energy sector preferred;
  • Detail-oriented individual with ability to work collaboratively with team members nearby and remotely, managing multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
