Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in manual and functional testing.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute test cases for regression, smoke, and sanity testing. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
  • Conduct thorough manual testing of web and backend applications.
  • Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools.

This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in regression, smoke, and sanity testing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

  • Manual testing of web and backend applications.
  • SQL query writing and execution.
  • Bug identification and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in manual and functional QA.
  • Strong understanding of regression, smoke, and sanity testing techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL for backend validation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in mortgage, finance, or banking domains.
  • Knowledge of IBMi systems.
  • Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).
