Job Title: Associate Director – Programmes

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our programme portfolio. This role requires strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12-15 years of relevant experience in programme design, management, or evaluation within the development sector, including experience in leadership roles.

About The Role

The Associate Director – Programmes will play a critical role in advancing our programme portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, steering, and scaling impactful initiatives
  • Supporting the development of long-term strategies and annual plans for programme themes
  • Identifying opportunities for collaboration and innovation to strengthen impact
  • Overseeing select programme areas to ensure timely, high-quality delivery in line with agreed goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in social sciences, development studies, public policy, or a related discipline
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to develop and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities
  • Demonstrated capacity to think strategically and translate plans into results
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural and social contexts
