We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to spearhead our Primary Years Programme. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to crafting a student-centered environment that fosters a culture of inquiry and reflection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with teachers to design and implement the PYP curriculum in alignment with IB guidelines, ensuring effective delivery and promoting a deep understanding of the programme.
  • Teacher Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to teachers in developing transdisciplinary units and inquiry-based learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Professional Development: Organize and lead workshops and training sessions for staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in teaching and learning.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with parents and the school community to promote awareness and understanding of the PYP, its principles, and its benefits.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Coordinate and support student assessments, maintaining accurate records as per IB requirements, and providing meaningful feedback to stakeholders.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate open communication between all stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and the IB organization, ensuring seamless collaboration and a shared vision for the programme.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, IB PYP Coordinator training or certification, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching, with a strong understanding of the IB framework and the PYP.
