Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Agri Input Fertilizer category management team. As Associate Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and optimizing sourcing across the supply chain.

Your key responsibilities will include developing comprehensive sales plans, collaborating with the sales team to execute strategies at the ground level, monitoring performance, and identifying gaps. You will also forge strategic partnerships with fertilizer companies in India, negotiate product allocations and pricing terms, and ensure timely sourcing of fertilizers to meet demand.

In addition, you will maintain a deep understanding of the fertilizer market, including trends, pricing, and competitive landscape. This knowledge will enable you to ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards, as well as monitor on-field compliance related to product handling and safety.

You will leverage your strong network within the Indian fertilizers industry to attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Your relationships with suppliers, distributors, and industry experts will be crucial in building and maintaining a robust network that drives business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Agriculture or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in fertilizer sales or category management at the zonal or national level. They will possess excellent negotiation skills, vendor management abilities, and familiarity with Indian fertilizer regulations and market dynamics.
