Audit Associate

Job Description:

Delivering Exceptional Audit Services

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a skilled Audit Specialist to join our team. As an associate or senior associate in the audit department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients within the United Kingdom.

  • Conduct thorough audits of financial statements, operational processes, and compliance programs to ensure accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Review and audit the financial statements of UK-based enterprises to guarantee compliance with accounting standards.
  • Participate in statutory audit work preparation, demonstrating a solid understanding of all phases (planning, execution, and closure).
  • Perform end-to-end audit functions for entities across sectors, including small and medium companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, organize, and execute audit engagements for various clients, ensuring timely completion and exceptional quality.
  2. Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to evaluate the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
  3. Document audit procedures performed, findings, and conclusions in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Identify control deficiencies and provide recommendations for improving clients' internal control systems and financial processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in end-to-end audit for UK clients.
  • Proficiency in audit software and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in using accounting applications and familiarity with auditing standards, financial reporting frameworks, and relevant regulations.
