Job Title

A senior structural engineer is required to join a dynamic team of professionals in the field of high-tech building design and construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating world-class designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and experience in EPC project management. A master's degree in structural engineering would be an added advantage.
  • The role involves leading design projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring that all projects meet the set requirements and safety codes.
  • The candidate must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Structural Design Projects: Conceptualize and execute structural design projects for various industrial facilities, including hyperscale data centers, food consumer products, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and institutional facilities.
  2. Analyze and Design Structures: Conduct thorough analysis and design of superstructures and foundations for industrial facilities, steel buildings, and concrete structures.
  3. Review Geotechnical Reports: Review geotechnical reports, analyze data, and provide comments/clarifications to ensure accurate and safe design.
  4. Coordinate with Disciplines: Coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and stakeholders to develop clash-free system designs.
  5. Manage Project Scope, Schedule, and Budget: Responsible for managing assigned scope within agreed schedules and budgets while monitoring quality, budget, and schedule KPIs.
  6. Mentor Team Members: Lead projects of the GP, help develop teams by mentoring team members, and provide technical guidance and support.
  7. Identify Skill Requirements: Identify project-specific skill requirements and assign qualified staff in consultation with the SM.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum years of working experience, preferably in EPC project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to the United States to support inter-departmental initiatives.
