As a linguistic expert, you will play a pivotal role in refining the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP)-based systems through high-quality linguistic data curation, annotation, and evaluation.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Creating or editing linguistically-rich content, such as grammar guides, syntactic analyses, usage explanations, or examples, for NLP pipelines.
  • Identifying and resolving issues related to ambiguity, bias, and grammaticality.
  • Ensuring quality assurance (QA) on model outputs for fluency, tone, factual accuracy, and language appropriateness.
  • Annotating linguistic datasets with syntactic, semantic, or pragmatic labels.
  • Supporting internal teams by conducting linguistic research and summarizing findings.
  • Applying linguistic knowledge to evaluate model behavior, error patterns, and generalization issues.

To succeed in this role, you will need a deep understanding of linguistic theory and language structure, as well as strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Experience with computational linguistics, corpus analysis, language data annotation, or LLM training is beneficial.
