Job Title:

Land Acquisition Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled land acquisition professional to join our team for the cement business in HO, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience in land acquisition and management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring land acquisition across multiple sites and coordinating with regional teams.
  • Having knowledge and experience in private land acquisition, government land allotment, forest land acquisition, and private land acquisition via LARR.
  • Assisting in resolving land issues at multiple sites, including litigation regarding title, encroachments, ceiling limit exemptions, and NA etc.
  • Preparing periodic MIS reports to exhibit acquisition progress and issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation.
  • Collating and verifying title search documents with the support of the legal team.
  • Managing stakeholders with land aggregators, regional land teams, business development teams, legal teams, project teams, and finance teams regarding land acquisition progress and land issue resolution.
  • Supporting regional teams in mutation, collection of original sale deeds, coordination with finance teams for fund release, and CAPEX budgeting.
  • Visiting regional land acquisition sites to monitor acquisition progress and assist in resolving land issues.
  • Coordinating with land aggregators and regional land teams for private land acquisition as per business requirements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of land laws.
  • Familiarity with revenue documentation, submissions, government regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Excel proficiency and preparation of MIS reports.
  • Ability to handle and navigate multiple projects.
  • Thorough understanding of land acquisition processes and regulations.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Knowledge of Google Earth and KMZ.
