Cloud Team Lead Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Team Lead to manage and oversee the strategic direction of our cloud infrastructure. This role involves providing expert technical guidance, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring seamless customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing cloud infrastructure strategies to meet customer needs.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of engineers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and improve overall performance.
  • Ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Providing input on team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies for growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a proven track record of leadership and technical expertise.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including containers, virtualization, and supporting concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, VMware/KVM, and on-prem cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 4 people in a similar role.
