Secondary School Administrator
About the Role:
The institution seeks an academic leader to drive excellence in teaching and administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of classes, examinations, and technical training programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop timetables that optimize infrastructure and human resource utilization effectively.
- Prepare and distribute information among students at the start of each semester or term, containing essential details about studies, examinations, rules, schedules, and guidelines.
- Serve as a single point of contact to ensure timely completion of enrollment generation for newly admitted students.
- Regularly update institutional data related to teaching and learning, staff, examinations, academic programs, and circulars/notices for students on the university website and MIS.
- Conduct regular meetings with teaching and non-teaching staff to understand challenges and explore solutions.
- Hold periodic meetings with students to gather feedback and explore avenues for improvement.
- Assist the principal and dean in preparing for expert committee visits.
- Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, and symposiums in collaboration with the principal and Centre for Human Resource Development.
- Collaborate with the admissions cell to organize career awareness seminars.
Required Qualifications:
i. Ph.D. degree
ii. Professor/Associate Professor with a total service/experience of fifteen years in universities, colleges, and other institutions of higher education.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership skills, a strong academic background, and experience in administration.
