We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Practice Lead - Embedded Systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, AI implementation in the Engineering process.

  • Provide expert guidance on embedded system design, development, and implementation.
  • Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems.
  • Drive innovation by proposing new technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings.
  • Develop and enforce quality standards for embedded system development.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide training sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Responsibilities Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embedded System Design: Provide expert guidance on embedded system design, development, and implementation.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems.
  • Innovation Driver: Drive innovation by proposing new technologies and methodologies to enhance product offerings.
  • Quality Standards: Develop and enforce quality standards for embedded system development.
  • Team Development: Mentor junior engineers and provide training sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in embedded system development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, familiarity with Linux and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience in embedded systems development with good understanding of embedded software development, including C/C++, RTOS, and microcontroller architectures and communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
  • Knowledge of FPGA, system design, verification and validation, and test automation.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies with proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from concept to production.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience with IoT applications and gen AI integration.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
