Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to spearhead the development of our technology stack. The successful candidate will be responsible for building core systems from scratch, shaping architecture decisions, and leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build core systems from scratch (backend, APIs, orchestration engines, infra)
  • Shape architecture decisions that will define the company's technological foundation
  • Move fast from pilot to scale (500 riders → 50,000 riders)
  • Work across the stack: backend (Go, Python, Node), infra (AWS, Terraform, Redis, OSRM), and app integrations (React Native, APIs)
  • Influence technical culture, standards, and early team-building
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have at least 5–8 years of experience building and shipping backend systems (Go and Python strongly preferred). Strong grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and API design is also required.

  • Experience with AWS stack: EC2, RDS/Postgres, Redis, networking basics (VPC, NAT, IGW)
  • Comfort with DevOps (Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, ECS)
  • Bonus: Geospatial systems (H3, OSRM, Redis Geo), real-time platforms, or ML inference integration
