Job Title: Import Executive

Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Import Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the import process from start to finish, ensuring that all shipments are handled efficiently and effectively.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Manage pre- and post-documentation, including preparing export invoices, packing lists, and other related documents.
    • Generate insurance certificates through online portals and ensure sufficient insured amount balance is maintained.
    • Handle hazardous cargo, including understanding of various hazard classes, packing groups, and preparing dangerous goods declarations.
    • Coordinate with factory, CHA, forwarding agents, transporters, shipping lines, and customers for seamless communication.
    • Negotiate air or sea freight with forwarders, shipping lines, or CHAs.
    • Check and approve SB checklists, BOE checklists, AWB drafts, and BL drafts.
    • Coordinate with freight forwarders for flight or vessel bookings.
    • Arrange courier shipments through DHL or FedEx.
    • Understand Letter of Credit (LC) shipments.
    • Ensure regular review and compliance with SCOMET and Narcotics requirements for every shipment.
    • Resolve queries from export customers promptly and efficiently.
    • Arrange transport for FCL shipments and factory stuffing.
    • Apply for Preferential and Non-preferential COOs online.
    • Efficiently handle multiple shipments at a time.
    • Send final shipment documents to customers and track cargo until delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records for all export shipments, including EGM and RODTEP benefit status.
    • Comply with import/export regulations, including HS codes, tariffs, and taxes.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports, including import data and compliance documents.
