Senior Financial Strategist

We seek an experienced senior financial strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
    • Develop and implement annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for retail and online segments
    • Analyze variance, create scenario plans, and track KPIs to inform strategic decisions
    • Provide actionable insights to optimize profitability and cost control
  • Business Partnering
    • Serve as a finance business partner to sales, marketing, and operations teams
    • Collaborate on pricing strategies, promotional planning, and inventory optimization
    • Support expansion initiatives, including new store openings and digital platform investments
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
    • Maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
    • Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
    • Monitor cash flow projections and working capital requirements
    • Optimize inventory and receivables to improve cash conversion cycles
  • Systems & Process Improvements
    • Pursue automation and efficiency in financial reporting and analytics
    • Recommend and implement financial systems and tools as needed
    Qualifications & Skills
    • Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification
    • Proven experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in retail or eCommerce sectors
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
    • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP) and financial modeling in Excel
