Job Title: Sensor and Machine Vision Engineer

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge sensor and machine vision systems that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and prototyping with laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras
  • Supporting hardware selection and integration with DAQ tools, PLCs, and basic OpenCV scripts
  • Creating mounts and enclosures that withstand heat, vibration, and factory conditions
  • Pilot deployments across customer sites in India
  • Troubleshooting and iterating quickly when challenges arise

Success Metrics:

  • Ability to navigate a complex factory setup, design a mount, wire up a sensor, and obtain usable data
  • Quickly resolving issues when they occur and maintaining pilot momentum
  • Comfortable providing clear, concise solutions to technical challenges
  • Customers see our systems working in their environments due to your hands-on contributions
  • Problem-solver first: prioritizing what works over what looks good on paper

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision
  • Knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems
  • Ability to create practical mechanical setups (mounts, fixtures, enclosures)
  • Comfort with Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections
  • Willingness to work in high-heat/industrial environments
  • Based in India, with flexibility to travel for deployments
  • Available ~20 hrs/week (flexible schedule)
