About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Computer Vision Engineer to develop and implement advanced geometric vision algorithms, localization, and SLAM algorithms for warehouse inventory management products. The role involves designing and developing Python-based modules and pipelines for server and edge-based platforms, requiring innovative solutions for optimal efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, development, and implementation of on-board computer vision algorithms for real-time robot localization in an indoor warehouse setting using classical and modern methods.
  2. Contribute to geometric vision tasks such as 3D reconstruction, Multiview pose estimation, RGBD fusion, 3D object detection, and dimensioning.
  3. Implement sensor fusion techniques to integrate data from multiple sensors like LIDAR, Cameras, IMU, and ToF for enhanced navigation accuracy and robustness.
  4. Develop a strong understanding of deep learning frameworks and workflows, conduct thorough testing and debugging of Python code, and ensure pipeline implementations are reliable and robust.
  5. Collaborate with the product team to make decisions on sensor selections and deploy solutions in various customer sites to gauge system efficiency.
  6. Ownership of the development and implementation of computer vision and machine learning pipelines, packaging software for efficiency, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of code, algorithms, and pipelines.
  7. Hands-on experience in solving real-world problems involving vision tasks, and ability to understand problem statements, implement, and test new ideas under supervision.
