Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Middleware Audio & Routing Engineer to design, develop, and maintain audio middleware solutions for Android devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of audio processing concepts and techniques, proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or Kotlin, and experience with audio APIs like AAudio, OpenSL ES, or AudioTrack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain audio middleware solutions for Android devices.
  • Optimize audio routing for various device configurations and use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio features into applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues in collaboration with QA and development teams.
  • Stay updated on the latest audio technologies and trends, and implement best practices.
  • Conduct performance profiling and optimization of audio components.
  • Document processes, code, and system architecture.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in audio middleware development, particularly for Android.
  • Strong understanding of audio processing concepts and techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or Kotlin.
  • Experience with audio APIs like AAudio, OpenSL ES, or AudioTrack.
  • Familiarity with digital signal processing (DSP) and audio codecs.
