Senior Techno Function Specialist Job Description

This role involves leading technology initiatives and driving operational excellence by blending strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of business processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering results, taking ownership, and hustling in a fast-paced environment. They will oversee end-to-end SAP B1 deployments, upgrades, and enhancements, configure modules (e.g., Finance, Sales, Inventory) and customize workflows to align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SAP B1 Implementation & Optimization: Oversee the entire lifecycle of SAP B1 projects, from deployment to optimization.
  • Techno-Functional Leadership: Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline processes within ERP, CRM, and other integrated systems.
  • System Integrations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP B1 with external applications.
  • Ownership & Mentorship: Lead small teams or external vendors in project execution, setting timelines and quality benchmarks.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background, preferably from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges, and top 20 percentile academic achievement.

They should also have hands-on experience in SAP B1 techno-functional roles, with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and optimizing ERP solutions.

Strong technical skills, including familiarity with SAP B1 modules, configurations, and development, are essential. Additionally, they should have knowledge of AWS, MS Office, and other related technologies.
