Automated Test Framework Developer

Our organization seeks an experienced Automated Test Framework Developer to create and maintain robust, comprehensive test frameworks using Python.

  • Design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks and scripts utilizing Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and craft thorough, well-structured test plans and cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Validate backend services using Python-based tools for API testing.
  • Document and track defects in a centralized bug tracking system.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure high test coverage and contribute to the development of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automation.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation infrastructure.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6–12 years of total experience in Software QA, with at least 4 years of hands-on automation expertise in Python.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, testing life cycle, and test methodologies.
  • Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium (with Python).
  • Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Requests library, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Version control systems knowledge, specifically Git.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
