About the Role

Our organization is seeking an experienced Playwright Senior Tester to contribute to the success of our quality assurance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Automation Scripts: Utilize Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred) to create robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test scripts.
  • Test Planning: Design and implement test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Expertise with Behavior-Driven Development frameworks like Cucumber is required.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery.
  • Defect Management: Identify, log, and track software defects; assist in root cause analysis and debugging.
  • Multi-Browser Testing: Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and platforms.
  • Automation Best Practices: Advocate for best practices and maintain detailed test documentation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Playwright and its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with Cucumber and BDD testing.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipeline management.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
