Senior Observability Engineer

Build scalable observability platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure, resilient synthetic monitoring platforms in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Lead the adoption of APM with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
  • Develop strategies for integrating telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
  • Integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom solutions where needed.
  • Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teams to strengthen monitoring practices and embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
  • Partner with security teams on compliance, threat detection, and governance related to monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience with Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Primary Skills:
  • AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda), Application Performance Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring.
Secondary Skills:
  • Playwright Scripting.
