Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect SME

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in designing, implementing and automating cloud-based infrastructure solutions. This role will drive the transformation and automation of infrastructure operations, ensuring scalable, secure and highly available services across multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure architectures (Virtual Networks, subnets, routing, peering, VPNs, Transit Gateways, etc.) in Azure, GCP and/or OCI.
  • Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
  • Develop and enforce infrastructure best practices and security standards across cloud environments.
  • Integrate infrastructure automation with CI/CD pipelines to support Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to ensure optimal service performance and compliance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and processes.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level knowledge of cloud infrastructure architectures, design principles and implementation methodologies.
  • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
  • Excellent understanding of networking protocols, subnetting, routing, and firewall configurations.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices, identity access management and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
