Job Title:

Cloud Technology Architect Expert

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and proposing cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators, virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, including experience with implementation of cloud solutions in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators, virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.
  2. Proactively engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our solutions and effectively communicate the key differentiators.
  3. Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.
  4. Connect the dots between technical requirements and business requirements to ensure project success.
  5. Respond to RFIs or RFPs, communicating product differentiators.
  6. Prepare and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals.
  7. Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concepts.
  8. Build relationships with partners to find and realize opportunities.

Must Have Skills:

  • Experience with implementation of cloud solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, including working knowledge in at least one leading private cloud platform like VCloud, OpenStack, CloudStack etc.
  • Thorough understanding of virtualization concepts of leading hypervisors (ESXi/KVM).
  • Thorough understanding of container technologies, especially Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Knowledge of other enterprise products and solutions like Storage, Security and Compute solutions.
  • Excellent written communication skills, experience of preparing technical proposals, RFP responses and BoQs.
  • High presentation skills and composure in front of all levels of technical and business customers or prospects.
  • Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-paced international environment.
  • Proven experience of managing Proof Of Concept activities for customers in the Cloud Domain.
  • Takes responsibility for projects and strategic initiatives.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
  • 7 plus years of experience.
