We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to develop and maintain automated data pipelines that support data governance and analytics initiatives.

The successful candidate will design, build, and deploy robust ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake) to ingest, transform, and curate metadata from multiple sources landed in Databricks.

Key responsibilities include working closely with cross-functional teams to implement profiling logic to capture issue-level metadata (source table, column, timestamp, severity, rule type) to support drill-down from dashboards into specific records and enable targeted remediation.

Additionally, the Data Engineer will automate asset onboarding, metadata enrichment, classification tagging, and lineage extraction for integration into governance reporting. This includes implementing logic for retention tracking and policy compliance monitoring (masking, RLS, exceptions).

Maintaining curated Delta tables for governance metrics is also a key responsibility of this role, structured for efficient dashboard consumption.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Databricks (PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake)
