
Sales Leader Opportunity

The Regional Head - Sales will lead commercial efforts across India to maximize market opportunities. Primary management responsibilities include managing business operations, maximizing sales and market share gain for products and/or services throughout assigned regions in India domestic and regulated markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development Strategy
- Contribute to the global accounts growth objectives on API Business Development strategy
- Determine strategies for selected accounts
- Build wallet share of business for Biocon API business in India
- Leading Sales and Account Management
- Lead operations and day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses and monthly order forecasting for production planning
- Grow share of business and expand relationships within customers identifying influencers, gatekeepers, decision makers within the region of India
- Deploy a strong consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions
- Interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from order receipt to shipment dispatch as per customer requirement
- Co-ordinate with planning/production and Logistics/Shipping teams to ensure dispatch as per customer time-lines and shipping documentations provided to the customer
- Necessary interaction/co-ordination with various departments for samples, regulatory requirements, DMFs and other documentation for new customer & regulatory approvals to meet statutory requirements of customers
- Manage business development activities to add new customers and increase market coverage of existing range of products in untapped regions
Identification of markets and customers for new products and products in pipeline. Assist regional heads for successful launch and ensuring sales of new products once commercialized.
Provide market research, market intelligence and key information on international market trends and competition to help division with future export strategies
