Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB and be able to prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • The role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations as well as assisting with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for processing payroll and superannuation contributions, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and communicating effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters.
Key Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred).
  • Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
  • Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal). Clear, professional, and confident communicator.
  • Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Mindset: Sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
