Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned technology professional to lead the design and development of comprehensive data architectures on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, cloud architecture, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop end-to-end data architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Architect and build data pipelines and workflows using GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, and Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to data engineering teams.
  • Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and principles for data solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible to manage and automate infrastructure provisioning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience on GCP.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex data workflows and architectures on a cloud platform.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python for developing data pipelines, automation, and scripting.
  • Strong SQL skills for advanced querying, data transformation, and analysis.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with core GCP services, including Data Services, Compute & Containers, and CI/CD tools.
  • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
