Azure Databricks Architect Position Overview

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead our Databricks team.

This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in data engineering, architecture, and analytics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions using Azure Databricks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing machine learning models in a cloud-based environment.
  • Developing expertise in data governance tools like Azure Purview.
  • Familiarity with real-time data processing using Kafka, Event Hubs, or Stream Analytics.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL.
  • Expertise in Python, Scala, and SQL for data processing.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and distributed computing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data engineering.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.
