Job Title:

Data Governance Manager

Overview of the Role:

The ideal candidate will oversee IT governance frameworks, service management operations, and compliance initiatives in alignment with established industry standards.

  • Lead and manage IT governance frameworks and operations in alignment with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 standards to ensure seamless integration and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and controls to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee policy development, compliance tracking, and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives to drive excellence in service delivery.
  • Coordinate IT risk assessments, audit readiness activities, and regulatory reporting to ensure proactive management of risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure IT processes align with organizational goals.
  • Maintain and manage the IT governance calendar, including governance forums, meetings, and action tracking to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks to support informed decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
  • Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL Expert, ISO 20000, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
