Director of Sales and Business Development for Schools English

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven sales professional to join our team as Director of Sales and Business Development for Schools English. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the growth of our schools English business in South Asia, driving revenue expansion and establishing a strong presence in the market.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales function, developing and executing a commercial growth strategy for online learning products/solutions in India, and increasing market share in the competitive landscape. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a sales strategy to achieve desired numbers and organisation vision;
- Building relationships with HVOs (High Value Opportunities) and expanding large accounts for combined learning and assessment adoptions;
- Driving customer engagement using digital sales and marketing channels;
- Preparing annual sales budgets category-wise for Print, Digital, Learning and Assessment solutions and special projects, and achieving those targets with the team;
- Monitoring and controlling travel, marketing, and frees expenses;
- Creating and designing sales strategies to achieve desired numbers and organisational vision;
- Tracking and analysing current and past sales trends to analyse sales numbers and cost of sales to ensure achievement;
- Competitive benchmarking and agile mapping to market to enable execution of organisational plan through innovation and innovative sales tactics;
- Understanding market dynamics, competitive positioning, and how our value proposition serves customers and stakeholders;
- Monitoring the market and sharing intelligence with senior management to adjust strategy and tactics in response;
This role requires a strategic thinker who can envisage new solutions, address work challenges, and resolve conflicts. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in sales/business management or related field, sound knowledge of K Systems in South Asia, and sales management experience in K Segment at a senior level with any Schools-related Ed-tech organisation.

- Positive thinking, organised, and able to work to timelines and roadmaps.
