Vice President, Technology Risk Management Specialist

At BNY Mellon, we're seeking a highly skilled Vice President, Technology Risk Management I to join our team. This role is a critical part of our Global Corporate Services Division, where you'll provide administrative support to the Global Head and Directors of the department responsible for delivering high-quality operational efficiencies.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by independently implementing technology risk strategies and management improvements for a complex business line and/or business partner area. You'll apply your extensive knowledge of information, cyber, security, and technology risk concepts to skillfully interpret needs and drive the assigned business line and/or business partner area's evaluation of technology risk processes and execution and delivery of technology risk services.
You'll contribute to the development of technology risk control frameworks and present recommendations to business leaders, organizational management, and regulators for approval. You'll also apply a strong understanding of control and risk management concepts, security systems, and applications to interpret the technology risk needs of the assigned business line and/or business partner area and communicate relevant technology risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
As a key member of our team, you'll guide the business line and/or business partner area's technology risk and control environment initiatives. You'll assess and determine the business unit and/or business partner area's need for additional training and support on technology risk management. You'll also perform highly complex analyses and identify trends using an advanced understanding of technology risk metrics (KRIs, KPIs).

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. - years of total work experience preferred. Experience in Technology, Information Security, and/or technology risk preferred. Knowledge of security systems and applications preferred. At least one security clearance preferred.
