At BNY Mellon, we're seeking a skilled professional to join our Data Management team as a Vice President. This role is a key part of our Data Analytics Reporting and Transformation (DART) team, which supports the firm's Capital Adequacy, Counterparty Credit, and Enterprise Risk modeling and data analytics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing analytical tools in SQL or Python, maintaining and communicating high-quality project plans, and utilizing outlier detection methodologies to identify data anomalies in the financial risk space.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing data-driven solutions to strengthen the control framework around risk metrics and reporting
  • Collaborating with internal and external auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with prescribed standards
  • Partnering with technology and other stakeholders to ensure effective functional requirements, design, construction, and SIT testing

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Strong Python and SQL skills, as well as data analysis skills in Python or another statistical package, are also required.
