Job Title: Data Strategy Leader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Strategy Leader to shape our data vision, drive business outcomes, and empower teams with actionable insights. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee the development of a scalable data infrastructure, define enterprise-wide data consumption strategies, and lead the next generation of our Data Mart.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the design and implementation of a unified data architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate behavioral and transactional data into structured, query-optimized flat tables.
  • Establish data governance frameworks, quality standards, and best practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Drive adoption of self-service analytics tools, empowering teams to make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in data & analytics leadership, with a proven track record of building data marts and defining enterprise-wide data consumption strategies.
  • Strong technical expertise in data modeling, flat table structures, and query optimization for large-scale systems.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack (SQL, ETL/ELT, cloud data warehouses like Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift, BI tools like Looker/PowerBI/Tableau).
  • ML Competency: Ability to guide data scientists in building predictive/ML models and driving ML-driven insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable influencing at the CXO level.
