Procurement Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the solar or electrical industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Vendor and Supplier Management: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers, maintaining relationships with existing vendors, and tracking supplier performance.
  • Purchase Order Management: Issue purchase orders and ensure timely approval, track the status of POs, delivery timelines, and follow up as necessary.
  • Sourcing and Quotation Analysis: Assist in sourcing materials and services, collect and compare quotations, negotiate terms with suppliers under supervision, and help prepare cost analysis and vendor comparison sheets.
  • Inventory and Stock Control Support: Coordinate with the inventory or warehouse team to manage stock levels, ensure timely procurement to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation, ensure accurate data entry in procurement systems or ERP platforms.
  • Compliance and Audit Preparation: Ensure procurement processes comply with internal policies and external regulations, assist in preparing documentation for audits or internal reviews.
  • Support in Strategic Sourcing: Support the procurement manager in long-term sourcing strategies, help in market research for new suppliers or product alternatives.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Monitor expenditures and support cost-saving initiatives, report on procurement spend and help identify savings opportunities.
  • Team Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with internal departments for material requirements, escalate issues to the procurement manager as needed.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Basic negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems.
  • Understanding of procurement procedures and supply chain principles.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
