Job Title: Safety and Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe navigation of vessels, providing support in matters related to Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) and Marine Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct proactive vessel safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and advice on HSEQ and Marine Operations-related matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Participate in contingency planning and drills as required.
  • Handle third-party inspections and follow up on findings.
  • Support fleet operations and stakeholders ashore in matters related to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in safety and operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ and Marine Operations principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills.
