Civil Design Engineer Job Description

The role of Civil Design Engineer is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of solar projects by bridging the gap between design teams and site execution teams.

This position involves reviewing and interpreting designs for implementation at site, as well as preparing or modifying civil designs/drawings at site when required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of foundation, drainage, and structural design principles, with proficiency in civil/structural design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD, etc.

Key responsibilities include performing structural calculations and basic engineering design for site-specific changes, developing detailed civil/structural drawings using AutoCAD or other software, and verifying ground conditions through site surveys and soil/level checks before finalizing designs.

This role requires excellent communication and coordination skills with teams, as well as a problem-solving mindset for on-ground engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
