About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee SMT operations, focusing on Fuji systems. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in SMT processes, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance, particularly with Fuji equipment.

  • Lead SMT Operations for Fuji machines, primarily NXT and NXTR series platforms.
  • Install, commission, and support Fuji SMT lines at customer sites with minimal downtime.
  • Supervise a team of field service engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex service and maintenance issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and audits to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Maintain strong communication with Fuji Japan for technical updates and escalations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering) for seamless customer support.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation as per industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical training to internal teams and customer personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all EHS and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in SMT industry, with at least 8 years of hands-on experience with Fuji SMT machines.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fuji platforms: NXTR, NXT series, feeders, placement heads, and vision systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in hardware and software aspects of SMT machines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required (domestic and possibly international).
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and SMT process optimization is a plus.
  • Experience with other SMT brands (e.g., Panasonic, Yamaha, ASM) is advantageous.
