Industrial Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to lead the design configuration and deployment of SCADA and MES applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement real-time data acquisition visualization and reporting solutions for manufacturing operations
  • Ensure seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems
  • Develop and maintain secure efficient data exchange using REST APIs and OPC UA protocols
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives
  • Troubleshoot optimize and support existing SCADA deployments

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation including scripting module configuration and project deployment
  • Strong background in MES functions production tracking OEE downtime analysis traceability SPC etc
  • Proficiency with database technologies SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with OTIT integration technologies
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems PLC HMIs and plant floor connectivity
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95 ISA88 ISA99 IEC 62443
  • Excellent problem-solving communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms Azure IoT AWS IoT etc
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
  • Familiarity with containerization Docker Kubernetes for SCADAMES deployments
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation Industry 40 projects
  • Certifications Ignition Gold Certified Specialist OPC UA or relevant industrial ITOT certifications
